A beautiful 3 bedroom / 4 bathroom house in a perfect historical centre location on the river front - walking distance to everything - with private roof terrace.
The house is just 30 seconds walk to the ferry point that takes you to the beautiful beaches of Tavira island. You really couldn't be more perfectly located to enjoy the town and the beaches of Tavira.
Your own private entrance
The River House is on the first and second floors, but it has its own private front door at street level.
Please note that there are steep steps up from the street so it is not wheelchair accessible.
Everything designed for comfort, with modern features throughout
The house is very comfortable and light. With a huge high ceiling in the lounge and good temperatures through the whole year thanks to heating/aircon in all the main rooms.
There's good free wifi (fibre optic) throughout the house, and international multichannel TV (inc sports channels).
3 bedrooms - all ensuite - plus a further bathroom.
The master bedroom has a king size double bed and great views over the river.
The second 'attic' bedroom also has a double bed plus seating area, and even a 'chilax zone' just outside the door.
The third bedroom is designed for kids, with two single beds that can be converted into three or even four singles if required.
All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and heating/aircon.
The layout is ideal for two couples, as well as up to 4 kids.
Kitchen
The kitchen has all you'll need for your stay inc oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and plenty of crockery and utensils for up to 8 people.
Lounge / dining room
The lounge has two large three seater sofas, plus dining table with up to eight chairs.
There's also another sofa in the 'chilax zone' up the stairs overlooking the lounge.
Winter sun room
It's only small, but it's my favourite room in the house!
With south facing views across the rooftops of Tavira this is the place to sit and read in the winter months - it gets every ray of sunshine going.
Roof terrace
On the small roof terrace you'll find a covered al fresco dining table, plus a couple of sun chairs, and a small bar seating area overlooking the river.
