Own private entrance
The Orange Tree House is part of the original Bishop's house, built in 1800. A ground floor house with its own private entrance, just a stone's throw from the castle.
Quiet and comfortable, with modern features
The house is very private and cozy, yet also bright and light. With 1m thick walls it retains a good temperature throughout the year. There's good free wifi (fibre optic), aircon, and underfloor heating in the lounge.
2 bedrooms
The main bedroom has a king size double bed. The second bedroom has two single beds, but no external window. Both have aircon/heating. The layout is ideal for a couple, with or without kids.
Lounge / Kitchen
The open plan lounge/kitchen has all you'll need for your stay. The kitchen includes oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, and plenty of crockery and utensils. The lounge area has a good sofas, plus an armchair, aircon, and underfloor heating. There's also a dining table, and more comfy seats just outside on the terrace.
Terrace / garden
Outside on the terrace you'll find a table and chairs, perfect for private alfresco dining. And beyond that you'll find a small private concreted garden, shaded by the large orange tree that gives the house its name.
Entrance hall
Just inside the front door is a large entrance hall which doubles as an office space
Bathrooms
There is a modern bathroom off the lounge / kitchen area, with shower, toilet (no bath). There is also a second toilet along the hallway.
